Police cars Australia wide have been fitted with 3 new plate recognition cameras to detected vehicle details, (Including vehicle License Details). These cameras can process 6 number plates per second.

In addition, the South Australian Government have installed 12 of these units at various intersections and motorways as fixed camera locations.
